The Running Scared EP

 The Bomb EP

If Thomas Jefferson were alive today
He'd view record companies with dismay.

If Thomas Paine were here he'd say
Expose the evil of the RIAA.

And if Samuel Adams were to join the fray...
He'd dump the CDs in the Bay.

Say it loud and let 'em know...
The Big Five labels have got to go!

The Bomb: Postcard #9

"Fitehouse makes Editor's Picks at mp3.washingtonpost.com."

Yeah, we couldn't believe it either, especially because mp3.washingtonpost.com wasn't one of the folks we've been inundating with postcards and propaganda! Proving that there must be some substance there someplace, this summer, Fitehouse's "I'll be there" was selected as an example of fine musical fare in the Washington DC area. It's one of our AAA tunes, a rock sandwich for tastes on the lighter side, finding its real flavor in the gospel-strong harmonies. What else is on the Fitehouse menu?

Chances: An all you can eat pop rock jangle fest. Simple shimmery sonic texture with a hint of the Talking Heads.

Earthquake: Straight-ahead rock. Our hungry-man special. Raw and noisy meatloaf with searing guitars as sumptuous topping.

Soaked: Supperannuated soul rock. Garden-variety rock tastes surrounded by hints of soulful psychedelic funk.

Mighty: Sentimental light rock. Its easygoing melody and short structure makes this a treat that quickly satisfies.

Hearts Pound: Latin-flavored American Ballad. Is it the guiro or the eerie angel harmonies that make this one stick to your ribs?

And then, or course, there's our secret weapon...

Fitehouse... it's all leading up to something big!

Passionate pursuits prevail
over pusillanimous passivity
