The Running Scared EP

 The Bomb EP

If Thomas Jefferson were alive today
He'd view record companies with dismay.

If Thomas Paine were here he'd say
Expose the evil of the RIAA.

And if Samuel Adams were to join the fray...
He'd dump the CDs in the Bay.

Say it loud and let 'em know...
The Big Five labels have got to go!

The Bomb: Postcard #4

"Fitehouse gathers data for its Discouraged Listener Index (DLI)."

Fitehouse recently surveyed 206 Baltimoreans on their musical buying habits (though not everyone got the personal attention portrayed on this postcard!)

The Recording Industry blames file sharing for its recent drop in sales. Fitehouse says “hooey”! Our research shows that poor musical variety is behind the slump. In economics, when people give up looking for work because the job offers are so bad, they are called “Discouraged Workers”. Fitehouse felt it was time to create a Discouraged Listener Index (DLI).

When asked to evaluate the statement “The current offerings of new music are so poor that I am discouraged from even going to the record store or looking for new acts,” an amazing 24% said this was accurate or very accurate, while another 31% reported that it was somewhat accurate! Who is most dissatisfied with the variety of new musical acts? Those in their 30s (nearly a third of whom reported that the variety is poor or very poor).

Stay informed! Get the full results at www.fitehouse.com Fitehouse... radically good rock-n-roll since 1998 & really reliable research since 2003!

Please pause to ponder the
postman's perseverance.
