The Mariachi Campaign: Postcard #1

SMELL THE POSTCARD, TRUST THE POSTCARD

When we last joined Fitehouse, our superannuated soul-rocker heroes, they had just dropped the Bomb on the recording industry. Having publicly predicted the industry’s demise at a web press conference, years before anyone else, the band initiated a full-out offensive to bring down the (then) Big Five. Beginning with the publication of their incendiary pamphlet “Common Musical Sense,” Fitehouse then undertook a massive postcard propaganda campaign that culminated with their open-source, anti-RIAA rant “Running Scared.” Reaction to the campaign was swift and overwhelming; colleges and universities across the US picked up the story and helped spread the word that the Bomb had been dropped.

With the dust settling, and the industry evil-doers in retreat, Fitehouse has emerged from its bunker to lead the charge in forging the new post-RIAA musical world. Dressed in full Mariachi regalia and armed with thousands of scratch-n-sniff postcards, Fitehouse intends to push its cultural vision of the future with a propaganda campaign unparalleled in the history of garage-band antics.

Come with us now as we follow the mischievous mariachi rockers as they jump the fence and initiate their adventure to discover the advantages of all things Open.
